Twenty Wishes by Debbie Macomber

Twenty Wishes, by Debbie Macomber, reviewed by: Brenda Rodammer, Information Technologist, Hoyt Library
(Mira Books, 2008, 368 pages, $24.95)

Number 4 in the Blossom Street fictional series, this book focuses on four widows who make a pact on Valentine’s Day at 38-year-old Anne Marie Roche’s bookstore. Their pact consists of a list of twenty wishes of things they would like to do in their lifetime. Macomber has a gift for drawing the reader in to each woman’s life, and you’ll find yourself rooting for them as they overcome obstacles and surprises that crop up along the way.

Sometimes what we wish for takes on a different twist and becomes even better. This is a definite must read for any Macomber fan.
