BIG PLANS! by Bob Shea

BIG PLANS! by Bob Shea reviewed by Cheryl Kay, Hoyt Library, Children’s Department (Hyperion Books, 2008, $17.99, unpaged)
Recommended for ages 6 - 10.

A little boy sits in the corner of his classroom plotting his future. He’s making plans, really BIG PLANS. With the help a mynah bird and a lucky stinky hat, this little boy will tell the world of his plans. He’ll boss around the big city big shots, bigwigs and muckety-mucks…he’ll become mayor….the president. He’ll tell the states to make him a space ship because he has plans, BIG PLANS. He’ll go to the moon to let the universe know that he has plans, “I GOT BIG PLANS! BIG PLANS, I SAY!” It’s the perfect book for any little or big child, who has BIG PLANS!
