Up Till Now by William Shatner

Up Till Now: the autobiography by William Shatner with David Fisher reviewed by John Sheridan, Librarian, Local History and Genealogy, Hoyt Library
(New York: St Martin’s Press, 358 pg.)

Captain Kirk? T.J. Hooker? Denny Craig? William Shatner’s life has been anything but boring. A successful actor, author, and a questionable recording artist, Shatner’s career has been a series of re-inventions of himself. This book covers his career, but more importantly his private life. Shatner emerged from the uncertainty of his early career to find out he wasn’t liked by his co-workers. The man who parodies himself for a career has scored a hit with this honest reflection of his life. A great summer read.
