Hello, Cupcake! by Karen Tack

Hello, Cupcake!, Irresistibly playful creations anyone can make, by Karen Tack & Alan Richardson, reviewed by Deborah Trombley Teen & Adult Reference Librarian Butman-Fish Library
(Houghton Mifflin Company 2008, 230 pages $15.95)
Recommended for ages 12 and up.

What a wonderful book for “Family Fun Month”. I know it isn’t until August, but this book will give you some great ideas to make any day special. The mini cakes are a fantastic creation. There is a special cupcake for every event and the book offers two kinds of recipes- simple, quick cupcakes you can make with boxed mixes, and then another section of "from scratch" cupcake recipes. What a great family project, even the mistakes taste good.
