Steve Jenkins has created an engaging children’s book that is filled with unique animals and factual tidbits. Jenkins describes the importance of animal color with five or six vibrant animal illustrations on each two-page spread. Read the book to discover why the three-toed sloth is green , or what makes the African chameleon change colors. Look for more details about each creature on the last few pages, including approximate size, habitat, and diet. An excellent choice for gift-giving.
