All for Pie, Pie for All by David Martin

All for Pie, Pie for All, by David Martin, reviewed by Lee Anne Haupricht, Children’s Department, Butman-Fish Library
(Candlewick Press, 2006, 32 pages,$15.99.)

Preschool readers will eat up this yummy story about apple pie. Grandma Cat bakes an apple pie that is gobbled up by her family. One piece is left over for the mouse and ant families that live near by. All three families want another apple pie and help Grandma Cat bake one.
It’s a sweet story about families that enjoy being together.
