With 1.5 million members in over 69,000 chapters worldwide, chances are you know someone who belongs to the Red Hat Society. These fun-loving groups of women are affectionately known as “Red Hatters” and “Pink Hatters” and they know how to enjoy life! Here are two recent books from The Red Hat Society. Both are fun to read and, with the holidays just around the corner, would make great gifts.

This fun book is filled with several brightly colored photographs, templates and easy-to-follow instructions. Projects include gift tags, birthday cards, invitations and much, much more. It makes a beautiful presentation.
The Red Hat Society Cookbook

(Rutledge Hill Press, 2006, 596 pages, $24.99)
This cookbook has over 1000 recipes submitted by Red Hat members from around the country. It opens with desserts (over 250 recipes!) and includes appetizers, soups, salads and slow-cooker recipes as well as recipes which make one or two servings. This fun-to-read book also features pictures of several Red Hat members with cute stories and anecdotes throughout. A well organized index of recipes in the back of the book makes it very user friendly.
