Eleven-year-old Danny Gurkin believes with his whole heart that the Sluggers are the best team ever. Danny becomes the Sluggers lucky charm as he draws upon all his superstitions to void the team’s 108 year losing streak. Can eating two hot dogs with everything from Willy’s stand before each game help the team win?

In his first novel, Haven will amuse the reader through this whimsical tale of folklore and the superstitions of baseball.
