Upon meeting her eccentric neighbor, Hero is intrigued by a story involving her house, its previous owner, illness, and the theft of a magnificent diamond that authorities believe was not stolen and remains hidden in the house. Hero and her new friend Danny find clues in unexpected places linking the diamond and its owner to Edward deVere, suspected to be the real author of Shakespeare’s plays. A suspenseful page turner as Hero and Danny search for the missing diamond.
