Recommended for preschoolers.

This illustrated version of a traditional American lullaby features a 1900’s African-American family. While Mama runs errands, Papa and brother try to soothe the crying baby. Getting baby to smile again is not easy and it takes Mama’s return to make the baby happy. Hush Little Baby is a story of unconditional love. The illustrations are colorful and energetic. The music for the lullaby in included in the back of the book. This is a fun book to share with your preschooler.
