This first book in the Ranger’s Apprentice series is said to be the adventure of the year. Will, just 15 years old, has always dreamed of entering battle school and becoming a warrior. On choosing day, however, the day that the wards are selected to enter a school, Will is rejected by the school because of his stature. The next day he learns that he has been assigned to the Ranger corps, a secretive unit that uses stealth and courage to protect the kingdom. Threatened by an evil warlord, Morgarath, Will experiences many adventures that test his skills as a Ranger’s apprentice.
