Dave Barry's Money Secrets by Dave Barry

Dave Barry’s Money Secrets; Like: Why Is There a Giant Eyeball On the Dollar?
by Dave Barry, reviewed by Paul Lutenske,Branch Head,Butman-Fish Library
(Crown, 2006, $24.95, 230 pp.)

Nothing funny about money, you say? Mr. Barry says different in this financial advice book to end (or at least make fun of) all financial advice books. If you're a regular reader of the author's humor column, you already have an idea of what you'll get in this book. If you're not, here's a sample from a multiple choice self-assessment quiz: "How do you plan to finance your retirement? 1. Savings. 2. Social security. 3. Sale of kidneys." If this is not funny to you, do not read this book! If it is funny to you, you won't want to miss it.
