Cornelius P. Mud, Are You Ready for Bed? by Barney Saltzberg

Cornelius P. Mud, Are You Ready for Bed?
by Barney Saltzberg, reviewed by Lee Anne Haupricht, Children's Department, Butman-Fish Library
(Candlewick Press,2005, $15.99,unpaged)Recommended for preschoolers.

Cornelius the pig has his own ritual when he prepares for bed. He feeds the fish,
uses the bathroom, brushes his teeth, puts on his pajamas and chooses a book—but
something is missing. He is not really ready for bed until he gets a hug from Mom.
The brightly colored pictures help make this an entertaining bedtime story. This
book makes bedtime - fun time, and it begs for repeat readings.
