The words to the well known Sunday School song are the text for this story about a boy’s cheery personality serving as a shining light throughout his neighborhood. Wearing a yellow shirt, he has a cheery wave for neighbors, a hug for his grandmother, help for a woman who has dropped her groceries, and time to make a new boy feel welcome before sitting down to a family dinner. Watercolor illustrations convey the happiness he finds in giving and sharing.
